Years ago, I was dragged me into a Planet Fitness by a close friend of mine. It was January 1st, and I swore my commitment to the gym wouldn't be just another New Year's Resolution.

It wasn't easy. Getting fit and staying that way never is, but over time I built a whole new lifestyle: regular exercise, better eating habits, better mindset about my body, the works. Before long, I was hitting the gym four or five times a week! I felt stronger, healthier, and happier than I ever had before. In fact, I felt so good that I wanted to share my experience. I started small, and convinced a few of my friends to come work out with me a few times a week. It was amazing and so rewarding to encourage and support them. I quit my job shortly thereafter and began my journey to become a personal trainer.  Exactly one year later, I was fully certified and ready to go. Fitness has been my life ever since and I just plain love it.

In the loud, busy, and sometimes intimidating world of fitness I want to create a welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive environment. A safe space for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and anyone who just feels like they don't fit in. Here we can break through our personal barriers, expand our comfort zones, and press forward. Together, We Will Go Beyond!

Hey there! I'm Tanner, a certified personal trainer with a passion for making fitness a comfortable and empowering experience for everyone. With over eight years of experience and a background in weight loss, corrective exercise, and strength coaching, I'm here to help you reach your goals.

 

Having been on my own weight loss journey, I understand the challenges that can come with starting a fitness routine, especially when you're unsure of yourself or don't know where to start. So, my approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences, ensuring that you feel at ease while you progress towards a healthier, stronger you.

When I'm not in the gym, you'll find me binging Dr. Who, creating engaging podcasts, or writing supernatural thrillers. I believe in the power of storytelling and entertainment to inspire and motivate.  Currently, I'm on the path to becoming a NASM Master Trainer, too, which means even more comprehensive and tailored fitness strategies are on the horizon!
